M. JOAN OLIVER Suddenly but peacefully, Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Concordia Hospital, Joan Oliver passed away at the age of 61 years. Joan was predeceased by her father Ernest Dodd. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Bill, her children, Brent (Kristjana), Kyle (Sharda), Jennifer (Robert), grandchildren: Cassie, Jordan, Dylan, Camryn, and Lukas, mother Isabel Dodd, brothers and sisters and their families. Joan was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother. She loved her sports and would do anything for her Kids and grandchildren. She loved to host family dinners. She worked for over 30 years at the Health Science Centre and touched many lives while she was there. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with Rev Jeff Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
